Musical Chairs Campaign
The Musical Chairs Campaign seeks to have an annual donor sponsor behind every single seat in our orchestra. As a donor, you receive recognition on our website and in program booklets, next to the musician you sponsor. And all Chair Sponsors receive special opportunities to get to know your sponsored musician personally, with behind-the-scenes looks at rehearsals, private events, and the knowledge that 100% of your donation goes towards our musicians’ pay.
Concertmaster - $5,000
Principal Musician - $2,500
Asst. Principal Musician - $1,000
Section Musician - $500
Ways to Support Us
-
Colorado’s Enterprise Zone (EZ) program, started in 1986, incentivizes individuals to give to qualified economic development projects - including the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs.
As an EZ project, donors who contribute over $250 annually can receive a Colorado state income tax credit worth 25% of their donation - for example, a $1,000 donation earns you a $250 tax credit.
To take advantage of this benefit, include “Enterprise Zone” in the memo section of your donation check - and, for state-mandated reporting, please provide the last 4 digits of your Social Security number (we can take this over the phone if you prefer; it is only used for filing with the state).

Naming the Chamber Orchestra as a beneficiary of your estate or retirement plans helps secure our future and ensures a musical legacy that will last beyond your lifetime.
You can choose to leave a specific dollar amount or asset, or you can specify a percentage of the remainder of your estate after your other obligations are met. For questions about what specific language is best, you may call our offices at (719) 633-3649.
You can read about the bequests that have already made an enormous impact on the Chamber Orchestra here.

King Soopers also allows you to support the Chamber Orchestra, through nothing more than your regular grocery shopping - all you need is a digital account with King Soopers.
To support the Chamber Orchestra, log into your online King Soopers account and link your King Soopers card to your account. Select the Chamber Orchestra as your designated organization. Then, whenever you go shopping with that card, the Chamber Orchestra benefits!

If you are age 72 or older, the IRS requires that you take a Required Minimum Distribution each year from your tax-deferred retirement accounts. This additional taxable income may push you into a higher tax bracket, and may also reduce your eligibility for certain tax credits and deductions.
To eliminate or reduce the tax implications of this income, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) to a charity or nonprofit of your choice, including the Chamber Orchestra. A QCD transfers funds directly from your IRA (other than an ongoing SEP or SIMPLE IRA) to us, and can be counted towards your Required Minimum Distribution, while being excluded from your taxable income. These QCD transfers can be made as soon as you turn 70 and 1/2 years old, even before the IRS’ mandate kicks in at age 72.
Read more about RMDs and QCDs here.
Sponsorships
Music Sponsorships
Performing incredible, new, unheard works is more expensive than performing classics - renting music from publishers, getting the music shipped, and printing copies incurs a high cost. Help us bring these new pieces to life by sponsoring music rental fees. Your name goes directly next to that piece in the program, letting everyone know how much you value bringing new music to life.
Guest Artist Sponsorships
Our featured guest artists make every concert special - whether they’re a member of our own ensemble, a local phenomenon, or the occasional nationwide or global star, you can be remembered for bringing these artists to our stage by sponsoring a guest artist. Your name will be listed next to theirs on our program - a true statement of your contribution to our community’s musical dialogue.
